Parley Las Vegas Nfl
Football Parlay Bets A parlay is a wager on multiple games all placed into a single bet. In theory the payout for a 2-team parlay is the same as if you bet one game, collected your winnings plus stake, and then bet the winnings plus stake on a second game. A 2 team parlay might pay 13/5, a three team parlay might pay 6/1, a four team parlay might pay 10/1, and so forth with the payouts getting higher with more teams or totals selected. For a single bet, 2 to 8 teams or totals can be selected. In order for the parlay bet to win, every one of the wagers must win or push (tie). - Bettor won $75,000 on a $200 wager after nailing 9-game NFL parlay
- Bet cashed thanks to a pair of last-second touchdowns by Eagles and Falcons
- Another parlay bettor lost what would have been $317,000 in winnings due to Raiders’ home loss to Jaguars
Sunday afternoon included a number of wild finishes and surprising results across the NFL. Several games came down to last-second finishes, and everything happened to break right for one Las Vegas bettor.
A CGTechnology bettor reportedly nailed a 9-team parlay on a $200 initial wager that paid out a whopping $75,000 in winnings. The bettor was aided by a pair of touchdowns in the waning moments of two different games that didn’t actually play a part in affecting the actual win/loss result of either contest.
Last-Second Heroics
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham scooped up a fumble from Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown on the final play of Philly’s 37-27 win over Washington. The Eagles led 31-27 at the time of the play, but the touchdown helped them cover the 4.5-point spread in improbable fashion.
A couple of hours later, a similar scenario played out on the opposite side of the country. The San Francisco 49ers had time for one last play to try and beat the Atlanta Falcons after a Julio Jones touchdown had given Atlanta a slim 23-22 lead with 2 seconds on the clock. The 49ers lateraled the ball several times, but the ball eventually got loose and rolled into their own end zone. Falcons receive Olamide Zaccheaus picked up the ball for a touchdown, which gave Atlanta a 29-22 victory. More importantly for the bettor, the meaningless touchdown helped push the game over the total 44.5 points.
The bettor had also taken Atlanta to cover the 10.5-point spread.
Other Legs of the Parlay
Nfl Las Vegas Scores
The other 6 legs of the parlay were Kansas City -9.5 against Denver (KC won 23-3), Houston +2.5 against Tennessee (HOU won 24-21), New England -9.5 over Cincinnati (NE won 34-13), Minnesota -2.5 against the LA Chargers (MIN won 39-10) and over 48.5 points in Carolina-Seattle (teams combined for 54 points).
The Carolina-Seattle game was looking dicey, but a pair of late touchdowns from the Panthers eventually clinched the over on 48.5. The Panthers found the end zone twice within the last 5 minutes of the game.
The first 8 legs of the parlay had come in at the time of Zaccheaus’ improbable last-second score in Santa Clara.
CG Technology sportsbook director Tony DiTommaso told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “It was amazing. Hard to believe two in one day like that.”
Big Swings for Sportsbooks
The last-minute touchdown by the Eagles was a huge swing against sportsbooks in general. CG Technology said that play alone represented a swing of $150,000 in winnings to bettors, while MGM Resorts and the Westgate SuperBook also reported swings of nearly six figures. William Hill said they endured a “monster swing” on the play, as well.
However, the sportsbooks wound up making some of that money back when the Falcons beat the 49ers outright. Tons of money had reportedly come in on the 49ers as -550 moneyline favorites. The game hitting the over was a minor hit to the books, but the Falcons’ victory was a boon for the books.
Aaron Kessler, the sportsbook director at the Golden Nugget, told the LVRJ, “Atlanta was huge for us. The total wasn’t great going over, but the game more than made up for it.”
Wild Finishes Across NFL
There was nearly a similarly improbable last-second touchdown in the Bears-Packers game, but the Bears wound up falling just a few yards shy of what could have been a game-tying score as time expired.
Bettors also cashed in on the Patriots’ win over the Bengals and the Buccaneers’ triumph over the Lions in Detroit. When asked about the Bengals-Patriots result, Kessler said, “We barely took any Bengals money all week. It’s hard to sell that team. You need an awful lot of lipstick for that particular pig.”
The Buccaneers picked up an easy 38-17 win over the Lions as 6-point favorites entering the game. Favorites went 6-1-1 against the spread in the early window. However, underdogs went 4-1 with 4 outright wins in the 5 late afternoon games.
Big Loss for Another Bettor
While one parlay bettor enjoyed the sweat of a lifetime, another wasn’t so lucky. A different bettor at MGM Resorts lost a $217,000 moneyline parlay that included Oakland as a -280 favorite to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Raiders were playing their final home game in Northern California, but Jacksonville staged a come-from-behind win in the team’s Oakland farewell. The Jaguars won the game 20-16 despite entering the game as 7-point underdogs.
The Raiders enjoyed a comfortable 16-3 halftime lead, but the offense stalled out in the second half. Jay Kornegay, a sportsbook director at the Westgate SuperBook, said, “There’s no doubt the Jaguars looked dead in the water. You would think the emotional facto would certainly be an advantage for the Raiders and it was for most of the game. But their offensive struggles in the second half continued.”
The other 3 legs of the 4-team parlay had come in on the right side for the aforementioned bettor. Texans-Titans hit the over on 44.5 points, Falcons-49ers went over 41.5 and Browns-Cardinals went over 37.5. The $100,000 wager would have paid out $317,000 if the Raiders had been able to hold up their end of the bargain.

How to read NFL Las Vegas Odds
The point-spread was developed to provide a balance for both teams involved in a contest to entice bettors to potentially back the weaker team and receive points. The two squads in a game are listed with a title, either a favorite or an underdog. The favorite is usually the perceived better team in the game, as backing them means giving up several points.
The favorite is always listed with a minus (-) sign before the point-spread while the underdog is labeled with a plus (+) label.
Ex. Favorite -10, Underdog +10
On the VegasInsider.com odds page, there is another number associated with the favorite and its listed as -10. This number is simply defined as “vig” or what many in the sports betting industry call vigorish. Another common term is called “juice” and it’s technically the price the bettor has to pay on a straight wager.
Ex. Bet $110 to win $100 (10% juice)
Ex. Bet $100 to win $90.91 (10% juice)
It's not uncommon to see other values posted other than -10. Examples seen on the NFL Vegas Odds pages could include -08, -12, -15 and -20. The -10 price is the most common value in the industry while many books offer reduced 'juice odds' and that would fall into the -08 category.
The lower-juice sportsbooks are normally found outside of the state Nevada. If you are in a state where sports betting is legal, please check out our online sportsbook directory to find the best and most secure places to make NFL bets.
Another number that’s posted on the NFL Las Vegas is the total or ‘over/under’ for the specific matchup. If the favorite is designated as the home team, then the total will be listed above and vice versa if the visitors are favorites.
All of the above numbers are listed next to the teams, and before each matchup is a Rotation number. The NFL Las Vegas Odds are listed in order of rotation and those numbers are generated and produced by the sportsbooks. Above each matchup and rotation is the Time of the game, which is subject to change. All game times are Eastern Standard Time.
NFL Open Line
One of the best features on the NFL Vegas Odds is the Open Line. This numbers consists of the first betting line received from one of our Las Vegas or Global Sportsbooks. The opening line varies depending on the sportsbook but it provides a clear-cut rating that the oddsmakers use. If you’re betting on the NFL or any other sport, it’s a great idea to view the open line first.
VI Consensus NFL Line
The VegasInsider.com Consensus NFL Line is just as important as the Open Line and also a key resource on odds platform. The Consensus column could be called a “Median Line” since it shows the most consistent number provided by the sportsbooks on VegasInsider.com. The consensus line will be the same as the open line but once the wagers start coming in, this number is often different than the openers.
How do I bet on the Super Bowl?
We know that you can bet on the Super Bowl and all of NFL Futures or bet on the NFL Draft at any time of the year, but what’s the process? The future wager or the “Odds to Win” bet on the Super Bowl is correctly selecting a team to win an event that takes place at a later time. A bettor will have his wagered money tied up until there is an outcome and bettors will receive fixed odds when they place the wager. In the case of the Super Bowl, you’re not a winner or loser until you see zeros on the clock in the final game.
Parley Las Vegas Nfl Odds Sportsbook Point Spread

Nfl Las Vegas Point Spread
The Packers are listed as an 8/1 betting choice to win the Super Bowl. If you wager $100 on Green Bay to win the NFC and they capture the championship, then you would win $800 (8 ÷ 1 x 100). Your online betting account would then credit your account $900, which includes your win and stake ($100).
